Wahahas! It's gonna be new year soon! (And I have no freaking time to do a new year layout now, hopefully on first day of school or smth). Let's see what 25 things have happened/I've acheived this year =P:
1. 1E4 won the drama competition with "Durian".
2. 1E4 was the only sec 1 class to get into cheerleading finals!
3. 1E4 got it's first detention during Term 1 (hehe)
4. Did a blog for 1E4.
5. A part of Uranus cheerleading team...
6. Got top for Home Economics in Sec 1 Express.
7. Julia and I got chosen for EL camp (-cries- I can't go!)
8. 6 Stayed in contact with most of my 6 Wisdom pals =)
9. Proud to be part of the band, haha.
10. Mei got higher PSLE marks than Kai, hehe.
11. Got to visit Cousin Jiun Ngiap's musical themed condominium in Sembawang!
12. Improved from 3rd to 2nd clarinet!
13. Became a blogskin designer.
14. Got loads of presents on my birthday =P
15. My cheerful self is BACKKK!
16. Enjoys going to church everytime =)

NYJC's concert, "Un Nouveau Chapitre I", totally rawks! ;) It's a waste if you didn't attend the concert (okay, we were late 15 minutes and missed out "Noah's Ark") We sort of had to get into the hall quickly before the 2nd song, "Christmas Carol Fantasy", starts. The conductor was waiting for us lor, so pai seh.
Before that, I met up with Li Yin, Yun Han and Hui Xian and took 161 to Compass Point to have dinner/lunch first. Jie Ying went straightaway with Gemaine and group. Had dinner/lunch at KFC and the 3 of us (me, Li Yin and Yun Han) kept laughing and laughing about some lame jokes Yun Han made. Then we started the "fake people" names: Yun Han has fake lips, Li Yin has fake teeth, I have fake hair and Hui Xian has fake butt, LOL! Because Hui Xian said something about Shuan Yong or Yun Han is transexual in Thailand, then Yun Han shot her back by saying she's one of the transexuals who have fake butt. Aiya, you won't understand de =P Yun Han started to say "...ALAMAK!" at the end of every joke and we laughed at the way she say "alamak", hahas!
Waited like 15 minutes for 156 and 99.8% of the 1st bus of 156 was squeezed with band members, from Regent, BN and HS. Hui Xian could not tolerate crowds/big group of people and the amount of noise they made, and she was furious. An Chun, Sue Ying, Shi Min were all drinking pepsi in the bus, which is not allowed in the first place. BN and Regent clarinettists, who sat near An Chun and group at the back of the bus, were all singing the "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" song. Imagine the amount of noise. Although I can joke with Li Yin, Yun Han and Shuan Yong, but I couldn't tolerate the noise either. Oh yar, Shuan Yong is called fake ears because he couldn't hear what we were talking, haha! It's too noisy you see. An Chun came forward and noticed Hui Xian and apologised to her. He joked that I made her angry, then I kena (felt angry about the noise) from Hui Xian also. He apologised again and joked with Yun Han, Li Yin and Shuan Yong that they made us angry. OH WHATEVER. They even nearly alighted at the wrong stop which caused chaos. What a relief when Hui Xian and I can finally get outta the bus.
An Chun apologised to Hui Xian again and she wasn't angry anymore. I still felt a bit angry (a BIT!) but for no reason, I feel like crying all of a sudden. Felt like breaking down when I see Jesslyn and Daniel (Tan) standing together, which brings back the past. I told myself not to ever think of it again but it's no use. The memories were just everywhere: the park, the bench, the routes we walk to school and band, the day when everyone had to do the record breaking thing (we spend the whole event together) and my right hand. Okay, I'm not used to my right hand being empty, neither do I wanna see a big hand next to mine.
ANYWAY, BACK TO TOPIC (I'm wayyy off already). Rushed to NYJC and as you know from 1st paragraph. Took bus 156 back and reached home =)
Gonna do layout tomorrow, hopefully complete it. Still have request from Hui Xian: do a "Inuyasha" neopet user look up. (=_=)"... diao... I suck at coding lah. We rawked today! WOO HOO! Played well during exchange and Mr Lim say we improved alot! ;) The Sri Kembangan band was superb, especially on "Phantom of the Opera". But eh... their warm-up was half an hour longgg... Yi Qian and Jia Min fell asleep, so did I, hahas. Hope Joey AhJie get my message that she cannot go to the concert today.
Had intro session after playing songs. Got to know Natasha (Regent), Rebecca (Regent) and ChenChen (hahas, long time know her le). And 2 more girls which I forgot their names, pai seh. The clarinet section was the last to go for lunch lor, have to wait in the hall. In order to entertain ourselves, the HS Band clarinettists started the "Catch-slapping" game: you slap the person on the back and must "pass" to someone, cannot take revenge. Violent eh? LOLs! We were running like mad on the stage, and something popped in my mind, "Behave yourself in front of other schools!", nah, we don't care. Faith tried to slap Yun Han on the back and Yun Han defended herself by raising up her two hands. Very funny lor, she keep raising her hand and say to Faith, "High five! High five!", haha. I laughed until my stomach couldn't take it.
Went for lunch and had to wait for our turn... alright, we WERE patient. I started some cold/lame jokes. Li Yin Mommy started saying, (something like this) "Aiyoh, all the hospitality/food dunno how many stars de lor. Hotel (Regent sec) dunno how many stars also." I replied her LOUDLY, so as people can notice my joke, "Aiya, this is 0 star hotel, and you know why? This isn't a hotel, IT'S A SCHOOL!" Jelly couldn't tolerate the "coldness" of the joke and told Wen Fang in front of me, "Wen Fang, see see! They speak so lame, how am I gonna communicate with them?! Hai..."

Tomorrow's band exchange! Really excited to see the KL band =) Jie Ying acknowledged me as her Mommy today! Wahahas! Oh yar, haven't ask Eunice to be my AhJie yet, tee hees.
I'm mad last night: downloaded loads of band songs in one go. And now, I'm listening to them like siao, haha. Aiya, I think I'll do my new year layout today since we can rest. Maybe it's temporary because I really, totally, have no ideas. Don't even speak about inspirations. I'm losing them. "Maburaho" is still in my list, green simplicity is still on my list too but it'll be difficult to make a nice layout just out of brushes and without any image: which means you have to be really good in it... otherwise people will BOO you.
BLARGH, I'm so darn hungry now.

ARGH, I'm so darn pissed off with Sis Jean, who always have something against me. For example: she used the computer before I got home and just now after her nap, she fucking reminded me repeatedly that she wanna check something (while I was using the computer). Heck, didn't she use the time to check before I got home? And I hate it when she stares at the computer screen of what was I doing. FUCK IT.
Secondly, I went to the kitchen just now to ask Mom which bus stop have 156 and just did a lil' hand actions. Jean immediately stared at me and told me in a rude way, "What did you do that for?". Mom laughed and told her, "Oh... aiya, she dunno mah. Bii (that's what I'm called in my family), don't ever do this again okay? It's actually a vulgar sign." Fuck it, Jean still stared at me. What on EARTH? I'm innocent okay because I just did that hand action for fun and you think I know everything and did that on purpose. >:(
I had to tell Wee Peng on MSN "sorry, I have to go" halfway through our game just because you fucking stare at the computer screen and it always give me those urgency to let you use the computer. This is an influence from young that whenever anyone says that he/she wanna use the computer, I'll the person because if I don't, I'll feel guilty and rushed (because the words are rumbling in my mind).
I know a person has nice and bad sides. When you're good, it's too good to be true, for example: handing me a present for no reason (it could be a bomb, MWAHAS). Bad side? COUNTLESS. You always quarrel with Bro Jason about the internet stuff (whoa whoa, I paid my share of the bill already okay?) and it's just too many to list out here =)

Just need to survive for 3 more days till 2006! YAHOO! Today's super suay: Joey went overseas, Li Yin Mommy fever never come, so I had the stand to myself and play as 2nd clarinet in the midst of 3rd clarinets (who have a strength of 4) and saxophones! GAWD. Shu Zhuang's absent today, which resulted in the sudden decrease of clarinettists. 3 clarinettists didn't come today right? And we (me and the 3rds) dunno whether should we move in or not, then Jackson gave us those I-not-happy stare and mumbled (really loudly and obviously), "Nan dao na xie clarinet yao wo men bang ta men move meh? Bu hui zi ji move ah?" Wah kaos, he's staring at me sia. I felt really angry and I just took my stand and case just "dropped" it loudly on the floor to show my displease... displeasure... WHATEVER!
Realised that I've improved a TON today. Weird lei, LOLs. Heard from Joey AhJie that there's a countdown party for the 3 schools (Regent, BN, HS) on 31st. Dunno about the detail yet, not so sure, guess she heard it from BN's side Kelvin and Yong Lin (?) they all. After band exchange/performance on 30th, we have to attend a COMPULSORY concert at NYJC, heard that it's Mr Lim's treat. Have to find our way there before 7.30pm... near Serangoon. Hayley knows where it is because it's near Yang Zheng Primary.

Highlights of concert include pieces like Russian Christmas Music, Noah's Ark, Jericho and many other Christmas Favourites!
We will also be featuring our bassoonist and saxaphonist in 2 solo pieces. Be sure to catch them in action!
We got our section tees today! Clarinets: red, flutes: pink, trumpet, saxophone, bassoon, oboe (?)french horn: black. Trombone and percussion haven't got their shirts yet. Faith is VERY enthu about getting the clarinet shirt, she's hugging the plastic bag, which contains the shirts, all the way from band room till outside Red Cross room, hahas. Heard that tuba's section shirt costs $28 (O_O)"...
Miracle happened today, yeap, miracle. Jackson gave out reeds! UNBELIEVABLE! Normally he wouldn't give us reeds when we ask him but hey, look what happened today!
Alright alright... all clarinet Vandoren reeds were 3 and a half. Have to get use to it sooner or later because 2 and a half is way too soft for us already. The juniors (next year) will start using them and Li Yin's already using size 3 reed! GOSH.
Hais, still can't think of anything for my new year layout. Tried making one yesterday without any images, just brushes, and it turned out to be my desktop wallpaper (=_=)"... I'll try to blend "Maburaho" characters or just (again) plain green lahs. I'll do a new layout a.s.a.p. Anyone can give ideas? PLEASE? I'm running outta ideas, or rather, my mind is drowned in the "Celebration and Dance" song, hahas.

Hiyeex~ heh, I'm imitating how Charmaine greets me in MSN everytime =X Went for dinner at Swensen's just now at Compass Point with Mom and Sis Rina! WOOTS! I think she got her pay, hahas. Before meeting Sis, who just knocked off, Mom and I took 161 to Compass Point to walk around first. So we stopped by Montip and Mom bought a hairclip while I bought 2 sets of earrings to match my CNY clothes =D Love em'. A set of pink earrings which are button-like with red polka dots to match my pink overall, just for a lady-like image ;) And a set of silver medium round earrings to match my purple sleeveless Puma top plus jeans/MJ denim mini skirt.

Oh yes, "Maburaho" rocks today! Poor Kazuki got transformed by a pervertic witch (who likes to collect souls) into a half-soul. He couldn't touch anything, neither Yuuna! Yuuna suspects that Kazuki is having an affair with a woman outside and is fuming mad (she claims that she's Kazuki's wife... frequently). Kuriko (the Li Zi I mentioned before) sends out her genie to help and find out what exactly happened to Kazuki, who is behaving unusually. When Yuuna saw the woman at the deserted house behind Aoi Academy, she fires her magic powers on Kazuki because she's furious and hurt to know that Kazuki is having an affair. And by the way, Kazuki had a lip-mark on his cheek which roused Yuuna's suspicion. Unfortunately, Yuuna (obviously) misses because Kazuki isn't in human form, LOLs! Kazuki explained to the 3 girls what happened and Yuuna promises Kazuki that she'll do her duty as Kazuki's wife by staying by his side always, and Kuriko comes in to argue with Yuuna about why she always claims herself as his wife, haha.

I'm wearing my new Nike shoes today! WEE! I really felt like flying whenever I run in the shoes, hahas. But the bad thing is that it's slippery... (>_<)" I nearly fell down 2 times while walking home because of this pair of shoes. The main highlight for today: We, the Sec 1s, don't have test today! It'll be postponed till we're Sec 2s, that's what Mr Lim said =D The songs which we're gonna perform for Sec 1 Orientation and June's concert are out. More songs will be added to the song list of the June concert bah. I ain't gonna reveal any song names here just to keep the suspense, especially the concert songs, haha. Wanna let Boon Kiat AhGor and John have surprise =P
Hais, Joey AhJie went overseas today. She gave me alot of encouragement on the test last night on MSN, "i have faith in u", "must get more mark than mii ok?", "slowly... juz try la"... wah... I almost CRY sia. Like as if she's gonna -touchwood- be gone forever. I was surprised (or maybe rather not) when i heard from Li Yin Mommy that J.M (not gonna name this person out, but you'll find out who he/she is eventually in this post) got the lowest for the test among EVERYONE who has taken the test. Reason for being surprised: J.M has just changed instrument not long ago. Reason(S) for being NOT surprised: J.M gives up easily and don't dare to try things. You see, J.M always make the rest of my section (you should know) wait for J.M to get ready. Whenever my section's ALUMNI told J.M to try the notes on the scale which J.M haven't tried before, J.M will groan and say, "Aiya... so difficult lor, I dunno how to play!". I bet J.M said those during the test which cause J.M to get low marks.
When I got home, I was surprised to see an envelope on my table, LOL. I rarely get letters nowadays since I stopped writing to Hui Ping... who told me she ran outta stamps. (=_=)"... It was a bursary award invitation, man, when the HEAVENS did I become so hardworking when I didn't even realise it myself? Neither my family members realise it too. Oh well, okay, I "did work hard on Home Economics" which resulted in getting the top for Sec 1 Express. But heck, I only did the dishes, scored 1 to 2 marks lower than Xiao Li and Ren Yi in the paper test and Darren did all the cooking! I wanna chop ingredients he also don't let because he find it "tough" for me to chop ingredients. ARGH.
Really gotta rush a new year layout a.s.a.p... probably after 30th? It'll feature ANIME (yes, AGAIN!)/green in simplicity and you should be able to guess it as it's my favourtie show for now =) Even Dawn realises that I watch that anime on SCV everyday, hahas. Hopefully not another pink layout again, maybe I'll go green this time.

How did Christmas start?
Since about 400 AD, Christians have celebrated the birth of Jesus. 'Christ' means 'Messiah' or 'Anointed One' - the title given to Jesus - and 'Mass' was a religious festival.
In the West today, the real meaning of Christmas is often forgotten. It has become a non-religious holiday! More children believe in Father Christmas than in Jesus. Christmas Day is a time for eating and drinking too much and watching television.
But the real Christmas story is found in the Christian Bible. It is told in two different books: Matthew and Luke chapters 1 and 2. If you have no Bible, you can read these chapters online. You may think that the story of the birth of Jesus, and the way that the West celebrates Christmas today, do not seem to have many connections.
Mary says "Yes"
These chapters tell how Jesus was born as a baby to Mary. This was no ordinary birth! She was not married, she was a virgin, (yes, really!) and an angel had told her she would bear a special baby. Her husband-to-be, Joseph, did not believe her at first. Who would? Then an angel told him in a dream that it was true! Probably no one else believed it. So when they had to travel from their home in Nazareth to Bethlehem (near Jerusalem), to register their names with the ruling Roman government, they probably escaped many hard words from other people.
Arrival in Bethlehem brought worry and upset: there was no room for them to stay at the hotel. There was only space in the stable - the animal house for travellers' donkeys and horses.
Jesus was born that night, and as they had no bed for him, they used an animal feeding box filled with the dry grass the animals ate.
Christmas cards and pictures today make it all seem very nice. In truth, it must have been dirty and frightening for a young couple, far from their home and families. Possibly the birth was premature after the stress of the journey. This was a very poor place for Jesus to start his life on earth.
God's plan?
Christians believe that it was exactly God's plan that things happened this way. They say that it shows that Jesus came as a humble, poor person and not as a strong, rich king. They also claim that the birth of Jesus was told many years before in the books of the prophets.
Five hundred years before, the prophet Micah had said, "But you Bethlehem, though you are small, out of you will come for me, one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."
The prophet Isaiah had written,
"A child is born to us! A son is given to us! And he will be our ruler.
He will be called, "Wonderful Counsellor," "Mighty God," "Eternal Father," "Prince of Peace." His royal power will continue to grow; his kingdom will always be at peace....
He will rule as King David's successor, basing his power on right and justice, from now until the end of time."
These are only two of many prophetic words that told of the birth and life of Jesus, written hundreds of years before His birth.
The shepherds are frightened
At that time, sheep farmers were seen by other people as low and of no value. Yet it was to these shepherds that the birth of Jesus was first announced in an amazing dramatic way:
"That night there were some men looking after sheep in the fields nearby. Suddenly they saw a great light. It was an angel, who said,
'Don't be afraid. I have good news for you, and for all people. Someone great has been born today. He is Christ, the great King you have been waiting for. He will save you from all that is wrong and evil. You will find him dressed in baby clothes, lying on a bed of dry grass.'"
The story of the three wise men
After Jesus was born, wise men came to look for Him, from an area which is now in either Iran or Saudi Arabia. Although they are often called the "Three Kings", the Bible does not say how many there were, or that they were kings. Three is only a guess because they brought with them three gifts.
Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh
They were certainly men of learning - probably today we would call them philosophers or scientists. They had seen an unusual new star in the sky, and knew that it told of the birth of a special king. (The star they saw was probably a exploding "supernova" and is known from astronomical records.) They followed the direction of the star- East - and eventually found the place where Mary, Joseph and Jesus were staying. To bring honour to the child, they brought rich gifts: gold, frankincense (a resin which burns with a beautiful smell), and myrrh (plant oil with a very strong sweet smell). These gifts tell us in pictures three key things about Jesus:
Gold: a gift fit for a King
Frankincense: burnt in worship of God
Myrrh: a sign of mortal human-ness - it was used to bury the dead
Jesus as a refugee
Herod, the evil king of the area, heard about the child, saw Him as a threat, and sent soldiers to kill Jesus. But God told Joseph in a dream to take Mary and the baby and escape to Egypt. They lived there till King Herod died and then went back to live in Nazareth. We read nothing more about the life of Jesus, except for one story when he was 12, until He reached 30. By the way - note one important thing: Jesus was not a white European, and Christianity is not a Western religion. Christmas cards from different countries often show Mary, Joseph and Jesus in the landscape of that country, and with the racial appearance of that nationality, be it black African, Indian, or Japanese. This is good and right - Jesus came to identify with every racial group. He is "Everyman" for us all.

Here is a newspaper cartoon printed some years ago, showing Father Christmas reading the Christmas story to a child. "But how did it end?" the child asks. Behind them, you can see the Cross (execution pole) on which Jesus was killed at the age of 33.
Jesus was indeed "the man born to die". But that was not the end of the story. It is still going on, and you can be part of the story, if you wish.
No other person has had such an effect on human lives as Jesus. He came back to life again, and millions say they know Him today as a friend and helper in their lives. You owe it to yourself to find out more about Him. Is He who He claimed to be? Can He help us in our lives today? You have nothing to lose! Christmas is the time to stop and think about these important questions.

Shopping rawks! HEHE! =D
Stayed over at Aunt Sandy's house and went for dimsum feast at 11am plus at YumCha, situated at Toa Payoh. Mom, Dad, First Uncle and family, Ah Ma were all there eating le, almost finishing, haha. So we started our dimsum feast by the food we ordered when we booked the room. Had har gao, siew mai, xiao long bao, roasted duck meat in crepe, egg tarts and lots more. The highlight for this feast was that everything, almost EVERYTHING, had prawns inside lor. If Bro Jason were to come arh... he tomorrow no need to work liao because he's allergic to prawns, HEHE. Paid the bill: $388+ Hong Yee and family (except for Ru Yue) plus all the rest went to walk at other places while Aunt Sandy and family, Ru Yue, Mom and I went to walk around Toa Payoh first before heading to Harbourfront (Aunt Sandy' wanted to take cable car... and back again). I SMSed Rachel that I'm eating dimsum on Christmas while others are eating turkey, then she replied that she's even worse: went to church with family in the morning and they're having maggie mee for lunch right now, LOLs! xD

Went shopping! WEE HEE! Mei bought a watch at a push-cart stall and Ru Yue's hand was sooo itchy that she broke one of the "wristband" of a watch. I thought that we must buy the watch but luckily it's alright. PHEW! I bought a pair of green patterned Nike shoes (WEE HEE~) which will IMMEDIATELY replace that old sports shoes of mine (which is in critical condition). Mei and Kai bought their school shoes. The price of my sports shoes can buy like 4 to 5 pairs of their Checkers school shoes: green Nike sports shoes, $103.95
My shoes was something like this, but the bottom of the shoes don't look like this one in the picture, it's meant for running. (We have to run everytime in Band right? Haha)
Walked around Harbourfront centre and stopped by at a sports shop which sells branded stuffs like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Le Coq Sportif (that rooster logo). Kai bought the jersey type of shirt lor, wah lao, he never play soccer buy this kind of shirt... waste $$ sia. He didn't buy just 1, be bought like... um... 4 shirts? That's so whopping expensive. I bought a sleeveless Puma top to go with my denim skirt and Mei bought 2 tops. Total cost for everyyything? $200+++ Sianded lor, so walk around the departure gate, lol. I went to buy Tiger Beat magazine, SHOOT lah, bought wrong mag. It's a magazine especiialy for Jesse McCartney and I don't really like him (I like his songs, not him). And what for I buy the $9 mag when I don't even like Jesse? Daniel (Radcliffe) is featured! AGH! (O_O)"... The mag had the cover with a speech bubble in front of him, "DOES DANIEL HAVE A GIRLFRIEND? FIND OUT NOW!". I flipped through immediately and thank God, he isn't attached: otherwise all his female fans will be heartbroken. Tiger Beat "THE ANSWER YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. IN DECEMBER BOP, WE ASKED... Does Daniel have a girlfriend?", Daniel "I don't have a girlfriend, but I try! Sometimes I don't know quite what to say to a girl. It's the awkward teenager thing.", SO TRUE. Because he studies in a boys' school, THAT'S WHY!
Walked to the cable car building and found out that there isn't any ticket for a trip just to take cable car to Sentosa and back again, it comes in packages. Aunt Sandy gave up and we had dinner at food court before heading home. Took NE-line together and Aunt Sandy and family plus Ru Yue alighted at Hougang Stn with us and they took bus back to Bedok.

Hellooos~ I'm back from another band rehearsal. The Sec 1s reported to school today and I didn't see Nicole, Hazel and Aunt Joyce, ARGH. Wanna show them how well the band plays but they went home immediately after buying uniform and books. Oh yar, i got a change in my msn. It won't be reggie_chua@hotmail.com anymore, it'll be kayern-@hotmail.com instead. So don't be surprised if I added you =)
Everyone in clarinet section, except for Aishah, were totally pissed off with Jelly's attitude today. Okay, we know she's senior and we should respect her and everything; we apologise if we showed her attitude or didn't play well during the mock test. You see, we've respected her and she showed us attitude by giving us a black face and diao us whenever she looks at us. I'm so fuming mad and felt like crying at the same time. So I just show her the same black face she showed us and she sort of got my message; I really cannot stand it. Shu Zhuang, Hayley, Joey, Siti and (undoublty...) Jia Min were all complaining. Mind you: although Jia Min side us by complaining, but she worsened our mood by ordering us around, telling us to play etudes and even wanna play Joey or whoever's clarinet outside 2T1 classroom. Come on lah, can't just anyone keep their cool so everyone can cooperate? This can probably be my mood swing, but hey, it can't possibly happen to everyone at the same day, same time right? Jie Ying told me that Aishah is now like the angel while Jelly is the devil.

Let's change topic to something better because I have gazillions of unhappiness to say out. One of the Sec 1 guy, Bryan (in 1A2 next year) was sort of held back by the band, LOL. Next year's batch of Sec 1s have alot of nice and weird christian and non-christian names lor. Example: Amy Saito, Kohji Saito (sounds like JAPANESE right?). I saw a guy named "Dickson" in one of the 1A classes, LOL! Danial also got, Daniel also got, and you know where I saw Nicole's name? 1E4! I'm so freaking elated! What's more, her register number is 14 while mine is 4, LOL. The girl who had my number was called Cheryl Low... woo... unfortunately not the funny Cheryl in 1E1, haha. Miss her.
BEFORE I FORGOT! Happy 13th birthday Sophia! =) Sorry that I'm unable to give you any presents but I wish you a enjoyable and blessed 13th birthday! (even though 13 is known as the jinxed number).
Talking about christmas, its christmas eve tomorrow! And christmas is the day after! Thinking back 1 year ago, christmas eve... what did I do? Lol, Alex (NOT BUDDHA! The one from Xinmin Sec, haha) and Mei knows =P Mei, you know what he said during christmas right? Hahas, shall not reveal it here, ask me in MSN and I will start the/our story, hehe. My sports shoe spoil le! Gonna ask Mom to buy me a new pair for christmas, WAHAHAS! Everyone in clarinet section, except for Aishah, were totally pissed off with Jelly's attitude today. Okay, we know she's senior and we should respect her and everything; we apologise if we showed her attitude or didn't play well during the mock test. You see, we've respected her and she showed us attitude by giving us a black face and diao us whenever she looks at us. I'm so fuming mad and felt like crying at the same time. So I just show her the same black face she showed us and she sort of got my message; I really cannot stand it. Shu Zhuang, Hayley, Joey, Siti and (undoublty...) Jia Min were all complaining. Mind you: although Jia Min side us by complaining, but she worsened our mood by ordering us around, telling us to play etudes and even wanna play Joey or whoever's clarinet outside 2T1 classroom. Come on lah, can't just anyone keep their cool so everyone can cooperate? This can probably be my mood swing, but hey, it can't possibly happen to everyone at the same day, same time right? Jie Ying told me that Aishah is now like the angel while Jelly is the devil.

Let's change topic to something better because I have gazillions of unhappiness to say out. One of the Sec 1 guy, Bryan (in 1A2 next year) was sort of held back by the band, LOL. Next year's batch of Sec 1s have alot of nice and weird christian and non-christian names lor. Example: Amy Saito, Kohji Saito (sounds like JAPANESE right?). I saw a guy named "Dickson" in one of the 1A classes, LOL! Danial also got, Daniel also got, and you know where I saw Nicole's name? 1E4! I'm so freaking elated! What's more, her register number is 14 while mine is 4, LOL. The girl who had my number was called Cheryl Low... woo... unfortunately not the funny Cheryl in 1E1, haha. Miss her.
BEFORE I FORGOT! Happy 13th birthday Sophia! =) Sorry that I'm unable to give you any presents but I wish you a enjoyable and blessed 13th birthday! (even though 13 is known as the jinxed number).
Talking about christmas, its christmas eve tomorrow! And christmas is the day after! Thinking back 1 year ago, christmas eve... what did I do? Lol, Alex (NOT BUDDHA! The one from Xinmin Sec, haha) and Mei knows =P Mei, you know what he said during christmas right? Hahas, shall not reveal it here, ask me in MSN and I will start the/our story, hehe. 3 days to Christmas people! And today the Primary 6s have gone to take their posting results, yeap. Just like us 1 year before. Mei went to Bedok North instead of Damai, which she wanted to. Aiya, no use regretting over it lah. My Mom says that if you get a B instead of an A, you'll lose out easily because alot of Primary 6s are aiming for Damai. Why not you join Band then I can see you next year? Lols, consider lah okay? ;)
Tomorrow is sectionals, 27 is sectionals, 28 is sectionals and 29 is optional practice. 30th is the performance already, must jia you on "Celebration and Dance" and "Copacabana". Listened to the 4 songs which we're gonna play on our next year concert on 22 June during band camp, it's totally nice. But for the saxophone, they got solo with tons and gazillions of high notes, haha. I was thinking to invite Cousin Njiun Ngiap to the concert then he can give feedback since he's a conductor at Whitley Sec =P Then invite Mom, Ah Ma, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends... AIYA! Think too far le! Better concentrate on the test on 27th. I'm so nervous on my arppegios plus my Concert G and D scale (>_<)" Christmas is coming and I haven't even touch my freaking math assignment yet! I'm so dead on the first day for diagnostic test, haha. All my knowledge are already drained out and filled up band stuffs. Guess I'll have, no, MUST find a day to revise everything related to Sec 1s again. BUT, where are my Sec 1 books?! I only have math textbook left... must ransack the living room again.

(^_^)" GOMENASAI! And PLEASE PLEASE don't turn down the next year concert just because of this, haha. Hais, even japanese anime shows can get this complicated: Haruka has a crush on Takayuki but he and Mitsuki are together when Haruka had an accident. Sorry for not updating! (^_^)" Have been really busy these days and didn't get a chance to blog. And I almost can't even blog, never ever blog again. I'll explain what happened later in this post.
18 Dec, Sunday
Rachel came over my house and we both wore pink shirt plus black jeans PLUS slingbag (we're twins aren't we? haha) and took 101 to Hougang Mall first to return my library book. Took train to Kovan and walked to church, and we waited like freaking 30 minutes for the rest to get ready. Especially Yi Rong AhDi, who told me he isn't gonna wear anything for christmas party, came like 20 minutes later. Rachel and I stood at one corner against the pillar like anti-socials, LOL. Bernice, Zack, Jessica, Deborah and the rest started coming in, even Lydia from french horn, haha. When she saw me, she was surprised and asked, "...WHY YOU HERE? Haha.". Wan Ting was the first person I saw when we walked into church. She came and talk to us (she and her bunch of cell group friends are wearing red.) and the "Chicken Little" cartoon on her red shirt caught our eye, haha! Wan Ting reminded us, "Eh! Whenever I talk to anyone, I want them to notice my face leh, NOT THAT CHICKEN LITTLE!", LOL! Lydia (the church leader, not the one from band) remembered me instantly because she said, "Oh yar, you are Hui Yi! I cannot forget that name one!", so gan dong. Lead by Jere, (who remembered my name after giving him hints...) the whole group took 107 to a condominium in Serangoon called Cherry Hills. Such a sweet name, haha.
Yi Rong ended up being the "doorman": opens the small gate beside the guard's house to let us go in. Daniel shouted, "Thank you Uncle! (Yi Rong)" and I asked Yi Rong if he collect tips, haha. Prepared alot of things before starting the introduction game. Got games like "Neighbour" and the balloon one, alot of things happened lah.
While playing "Neighbour" halfway, when Rachel and I were sitting next to each other with Yi Rong opposite us, his jeans were unzipped lor! I didn't know that until Rachel told me and we were both laughing like mad. Tried to get Daniel to see but he seemed very focused on the briefing of the game. When we're getting ready for the balloon game, I told him and he said, "You think I dunno meh? That's why I never tell him! HAHA!". So mean arh, the 3 of us never tell him and Yi Rong's still jumping around like mad. Finally it's dinner time and we had to queue up for our food. I'm the first, Rachel's behind me, Daniel's behind Rachel and Yi Rong's behind Daniel... THE FANTASTIC FOUR! Lol, lame. I asked Yi Rong to come closer so I can tell him that "bad news" and he totally blushed, haha, pai seh! He's like very angry liao lor... but then dunno why still can laugh. Alex was talking to the people queuing up about the treasure hunt we had just now. He took the Winnie the Pooh keychain (it's with wings and looks like an angel) and he said something about angels have wings but pooh bear and we (HUMANS!) dun have. I replied him by saying, "We don't have wings, but we have CHICKEN WINGS mah!", Alex totally FLIPPED over my lame answer. "That's a good one!" he said. Daniel suddenly asked me, "Hui Yi, tell me, out of the number 1 to 5, which one you like most?", "4 lor, my register number mah.", "Okay, this is the number of servings of food I'm gonna eat today, MWAHAHAHA!". Wan Ting interrupted and said, "AH AH! Only 1 serving per person mister." I replied her by saying, "Aiya, if he's still hungry after this meal, he can eat himself." The guy at the table said it's a good joke, WOO HOO!
Okay, just to cut short everything. We played Scharade, sang songs and left for home.

Went to school and SHOOT! Jun Rong's late! I panicked when I was doing the report for camp ICs. And crap it: I forgot to bring ALOT of things. The highlight to Day 1 camp was the "night-time-trust-game-but-not-scary-lah". Eunice partner me and she got blindfolded! I had to guide her through everything and she dirtied my black band shirt while eating the gummy at 2nd station. Kelly went and scare her by jumping onto her, lol, so bad! Eunice screamed when Kelly suddenly jumped onto her.

Got bad news and it's depressing, dun wanna mention here. I cried on the way to canteen for dinner, really cannot take it anymore. Guess it's my mood swing coming again, I just can't stop crying and think of the bad news. We didn't expect this to happen either. One of the band members got injured while playing netball game and she cried really badly. We thought she'll be alright after a while but dunno-who came and said got blood coming from her head, wah lao, scare me lor. My heart nearly jumped out.
Dragonfly group finally wrote a script on talentime to act, last minute then our brains start to work sia. My math brain has also started working during the holidays, OH CRAP IT!
Our lunch is the BEST MEAL among all the food in the camp today. NASI LEMAK! I was craving for it and Chandhini gave me her omelette, haha, thanks Chand. Nasi Lemak was so deliciousss and I can eat another packet, haha. Too bad Julie never come, Dickson AhGong totally cannot concentrate and was really mischevious.
The good news/highlight for today is the campfire. I was totally high lor! I dun mind doing 10 times of Hokey Pokey. We just enjoyed everything through the campfire with Bedok North sec, Regent sec, Mr Chia, Mr Lim, Scouts and whole band. The Scouts (Hui Kang and his 2 other friends) came started the campfire but unfortunately, it was very small. Jun Rong don't like them and keep saying about the Scouts, "Aiyoh... I thought Scouts are pro at campfire? Why our fire so small leh? CHEH!", wah... so fierce arh. Our item for talentime was a success when Davin sang but the audience "boo"-ed when we said the ending, HAHA! YOU'VE GUESSED IT!

Finally, we're gonna go home. Woke up and did exercises then went for breakfast. Had band prac and everything and headed home, plus the test for Sec 1s is on the 27th, not today! WEE!
Zhi Yuan scored the highest for music test, professional eh? Oh yar, about the "may be never able to blog again" thingie: our internet modem went crazy lah and Sis Jean was fed-up with it, so Bro Jason called Starhub up and demand immediate "repair" (or something like that) and the operator has attitude problem lor, he said, "Hold on a second." and hung up the phone.
Just saw the 6.30pm news on Channel 8 that using too much of computer will contract some skin cancer, omigosh. So they say after using computer must wash face, hands and before using computer must put on sun-block. How dumb is that? Okay lah, it's a precaution just in case you get the similar skin cancer as that woman in Taiwan. And it's so totally true that using too much computer will result in pimple breakout, AHH! MUST TIME MYSELF LE! And crap, my modem is acting up again.

Band camp's just few days away! WEE! Xmas party is tomorrow, yups. Now having headachae of what to wear tomorrow, haha. The only 2 highlights for today were Davin and Daniel. Davin arh... -sigh-... my "son". Too weak, cannot even do 1 push-up. Shamin and An Chun helped him in whatever ways they can but still failed. Marching also wrong, hai. Pei Jun said that Davin will most probably cause the NCOs to do 40 pumpings just because of his mistakes. Daniel eh? He tried to borrow $2 from Li Yin Mommy (buy drink bah... definitely related to food de lah, LOLs) and I spoilt everything for him. Li Yin lended him $1 only and he had to take maggie mee, heh heh! He never return $ de, so next time dun lend money to him. =P

Just finished watching "Maburaho" on Channel 56. So nice lor! It's japanese anime about 3 girls in Wizard School liking the same guy: Yuuna (the prettist girl =P), Rin (female samurai) and another rich bimbo (I forgot her name) liking Kazuki (he's cute actually). This episode's story is about the 3 girls preparing Kazuki's parent's favourite meal because they're visiting Kazuki. Kazuki kept asking Yuuna why she had to go through the trouble of killing the eels for dinner (she didn't like them because they're slimy and Kazuki's parents like eels) and Yuuna replied, "This is one of wife's duty!", lol, so cute. Sweet ending lah, Yuuna and Kazuki didn't like eels anyway, haha. You can visit the website but it's all in japanese, haha. But there are still a little bit of chinese words, at least can read and know about the characters. Here are some pictures =) (Must watch this show!)

Sian, Chandhini can't make it for group meeting because her Mom don't allow her. Then Joey has a 50-50 chance of coming: she went for appointment and she's coming in the afternoon. I dunno about Davin lor. I message Jun Rong also never reply, Aishah also, WAHHH! I'M GOING MAD. I guess only we 3 will be left doing the flag and everything bah. I thought that Mom would help me get the banner cloth by yesterday but little did I realised that she never go for work. Man, we really have to find the cloth as time is running out. Alright... it's 9.51am now and I've barely eaten my breakfast. Why so early... don't feel like going either lah. Jun Rong never tell us to meet where in Compass Point either, hai, everything's not planned properly. What else can we do at Compass Point I ask you? Define annoying and unpopular people
Those who thinks they can use their knowledge to shoot back people, who thinks they're perfect when everyone's not, who thinks their attitude rocks when everyone hates it. Whoa whoa, I aint pointing fingers at anyone nor am I hinting somebody to you okay? It's just that the bad stuffs of those people whom you hate are just too much to list out. You can even talk the whole day about that freak over and over again without feeling this subject is getting boring or stale.
Type 1: Suckup-ers
Would you be annoyed with (okay, let me name this girl Mary) Mary if she's those type of person who would do anything to get accepted by you? I mean, it's good to accept a friend. But what if she goes overboard? Over-reacting? If you like Fann Wong and she likes her too, well, both of you can share the same topic talking about Fann Wong because both of you share the same interest. What if I say... you like SADDAM HUSSEIN (in a negative way) and Mary doesn't even know that you like in a positive way (which is for fun) or negative way (because he's a lousy leader) then she suddenly become SO CRAZY about Saddam, would you feel disgusted? YUCK. That irks you right? That's what Rachel calls a Suckup-er, LOLs.
Solution:
Neutral way: Find out something she detests and pretend you like it. See whether she'll follow =P
Type 2: Thick-skinned
Admit it, Mary's looks ISN'T GOOD and yet she walks around the mall (you accompany her for shopping) tossing her hair. For these type of people, (if I could do this) I would have whipped out a pair of scissors and snip off her long flowing hair long ago. And people agrees that her figure isn't good (it could be horizontally or vertically), make the last minute cancel on your shopping in Orchard area if she's wearing tight clothes (for horizontal and vertical ones). Because you know why? "Horizontal" people who wears extremely tight clothes (tight = Wolverine's spandex costume in X-Men) is very unpleasant to the eye: you can see "layers" of her figure. For "vertical" people, it isn't good either because they're already so THIN and SKINNY and yet they wanna show their own figure (which is not a model-type figure). Alright, my conclusion for fashion is: NEVER EVER WEAR TIGHT CLOTHES unless you got the correct figure which everyone agrees.
Solution:
Harsh way: Worsen her looks by rubbing sandpaper over her face and burn her hair.
Good way: Help her to get an appointment at a facial centre and hair salon, or preferred, get an appointment at Jean Yip for a COMPLETE MAKEOVER before she makes a fool of you in public as your friend =)
Type 3: Self-admit
She admits obviously to everyone that "YAY! I've entered in the same poly and enrolled in the same course as my best friend! We can be friends forever!". Her friend hears it will find it embarrassing because it's so pai seh. When I say "admits obviously to everyone" it means jumping around in joy and hugging people and telling them this piece of... news. WAH KAO, if that friend was me I would have slapped her right on the face. Er... too harsh here. Mary admits that her language is good and she's using this "bonus" to talk back to people who disrespect her. I mean come on, you're already so unpopular and you still wanna talk back to people? GEE.
Solution:
Neutral way: One of the best way, IGNORE HER. And back off when she tries to make you jump with her.
Harsh way: If she grabs you and jump around, telling people that both of you are best friends are are fated to be in the same poly, same course, I suggest you push her away because her actions are irritating.
Type 4: Flamers
Yeap, this is the most common "scene" in the blog world. People criticise you in your tagboard without leaving their own name and if you accept these, I must say you are really hardworking. Most of all, the most annoying thing is that they use different computers (and they remember your blog address, mind you) to flame you in your tagboard. I mean, can't they even read "DISCLAIMERS" in blogs? "This is my blog, I can write whatever I want. If you are not satisfied with anything, just leave here", this sentence is already so obvious and yet they don't even bother to read them. Omigosh, I'm gonna die of heartattack because of these people living on Earth.
Solution:
Neutral way: Ignore them, continue blogging =)
Harsh way: You have to be harsh to these people (that's what I always do). Put password script on your blog and let only your close friends know the password to access your blog.
Good way: Accept their comments and improve on your blog. Put a hiatus sign to improve your blog for the time being.

I'm not referring to slackers. For example:
The whole of clarinet section has already known how to play a song. So the SL instructed them to play one by one and the turn got stuck at Mary. No matter how hard she tries, she can't get the song correct. Even the most basic Bb scale, she can't even get it correct neither the sound. It's dragging time for the others who knows how to play and it's totally unfair. As what Mr Lim said, "The band is as strong as its weakest member", the whole clarinet section had to play the song over and over again just for Mary's sake. Another type of not hardworking is not paying attention: she slouches in band, the sound produced from her instrument is horrible.
Mean: what I meant by "mean". Mary can't even handle her clarinet well (the skills I mean) and she kept saying bad stuffs about her friend who has just promoted from 3rd to 2nd clarinet. For goodness sake, at least this friend of hers is more hardworking than her, whose dragging the whole section down. When that friend didn't attend a practice, she keeps showing the "peace" sign and starts "yay"-ing around.
Solution:
Neutral way: Ignore her...
Harsh way: Nag at her mistakes till she change.
Good way: Teach her slowly -slaps hand on forehead-

Hey, hope you people like this layout, hahas. I've been having a headache for a long-term layout, so I might as well do it by events. The New Year one is coming soon also. And oh yes, I'm ready to take in requests for christmas layouts. Well, I know the layout won't last long but this is the first time I'm accepting requests for layout and er... pardon me if my designs are too ugly because I'm still learning.

Alright, I'm using a temporary blog layout because I really got the urge to blog.
My blog layout won't come out until early (VERY EARLY) January, sorry people. I'm currently having troubles with the image blending because the whole layout looks so noob. Won't be revealing anything about my new blog layout until I've put them up here, so others won't say I'm biased, haha.
Today went to meet Shuan Yong (SY) and Yun Han (YH) at Hougang Point. Man, I felt so LIGHTBULB in between them. So we took bus 72 to Yio Chu Kang MRT station (read on later) from the bus stop outside Hougang Point.
Yun Han sat beside me (unfortunately, I cannot get her to sit with Shuan Yong) and Shuan Yong sat behind us in the bus. I took out my book and started to read throughout the bus ride... UNTIL I FELT SOMETHING AMISS. I looked around and found out that we're on the way to TAMPINES MALL! We took the bus which is heading towards the WRONG DIRECTION! GAH! (O_O)... I immediately turned to the both of them and told them the bad news. They looked shocked and they pointed that I was in the wrong! WAH! FOR GOODNESS SAKE, I THOUGHT BOTH OF YOU KEPT QUIET BECAUSE YOU 2 KNOW WHERE TO ALIGHT! Nevermind, we took the bus all the way to Tampines interchange (which is at the EAST side of Singapore) and took train to Boon Lay's Jurong Point to meet Faith, Xin Hong, Dickson and Fong Yee. And mind you, we're taking a train from the EAST side of Singapore towards the EXTREME WEST side of Singapore.
At least we survived the 1 hour train ride.
I'm NOT gonna take another MRT ride again for few months.
I'M TERRIFIED OF IT.
When we're reaching, majority of the passengers finally alighted. I mumbled, "Alrighttt... we are tortured by the passengers because they alighted at the stop near ours. ARGH! Then we can finally get a seat and rest for like... 5 minutes!". SY sat on the left, YH in the middle and I at the right. Then there was this guy sitting beside a woman: the guy is reading newspapers and biting his fingernails in public while the woman beside was his wife. I started to laugh and told YH about it. I told YH to tell SY about this but she didn't want to, so I typed my message on my phone and showed them.
"The guy in front of u is biting his fingernails."
"he v hungry hor?"
LOL. His wife started to diao us. HECK! LIKE WE CARE?!
Your husband has done such an unpleasant thing in the public and you even dare to diao us, discipline him lah. We do admit that we're in the wrong too because we laughed at him.
Reached Boon Lay and alighted. Yun Han told me that the man's wife was scary because the wife diao YH and not me and SY, haha, poor thing. Headed to Kopitiam to find Faith and company as she told me. Took train ride again to City Hall to catch the concert.
Arrived at Esplanade and they had this security check before you head into the concert hall. Faith, YH, SY and I gt in but Dickson and the rest we stuck there. The ushers informed us that the concert is starting and we can't afford to waste anymore time, we had to head to the concert hall because we had no choice. Finally, SY sat with YH and Faith sat beside YH and I sat on Faith's right. She told me that the feeling of being a gooseberry isn't very good, haha! The concert was superb! Yup, really worth it. They played "Spirited Away", "In The Mood", and 2 other songs plus 1 christmas song. Gemaine and Mei Xuan joined us later and we headed to the shop which sells movie collectibles. Dickson keep saying that Daniel Radcliffe sucks, he looked awful. WAH, Faith and I were furious sia. Fong Yee, Faith and I went into the shop and saw alot of "HP" stuffs. But of course, we searched for the ones with the lowest price. Guess what? It's calendar cards! Fong Yee and I were practically drooling over the cards. She bought 2 and I bought 2 also. I love Daniel Radcliffe! LOLs, okay, enough madness.
Headed onto library @ Esplanade to borrow scores, but no one borrowed anything in the end. I spotted "Sound of the Music", "Latin' Gold!" and "Jon Bon Jovi" scores. I didn't borrow it because I don't know where to return. I'm sure if I show Cousin Ngiun Ngiap the "Sound of Music" scores, he'll go crazy, haha. Walked all over Citylink Mall to find lunch (I suggested it but they seemed NOT HUNGRY) and I ended up with cup noodles which I bought at 7-11. (=_=)" Headed to take train after accompanying Gemaine to top up her card. Sort of lost the rest but met them at the link at Outram Park. Took NE-line to Hougang and we're just crapping there. Gemaine and I shifted to another place to talk because we don't wanna be gooseberry to YH and SY, lol. Faith alighted at Serangoon station. SY started to mouth words to me because YH looks lonely and he wants me to talk to her. Oh come on, you're beside her yet you want me to talk to her? Gee... I give you chance leh. The rest went home after we reached the station then Gemaine and I went to have dinner, the same ol' japanese food again. Bought the present needed for the exchange at Christmas party at church next week. (Hope Mom allows me to go... please please please!) Alot of people were crowding around just to see the ice-skating show featuring Cinderella story. The area is so small for the skaters to skate lor. Anyway, it's a children show, don't even bother to watch it.
