Singapore is sooo small.

Firstly while I was walking home, I saw an Uncle talking to a group of Sec 1 Montfort boys and I suspected he's gonna abduct them or whatever lar. Being a kaypoh, I walked closer to take a look and guess whose that Uncle?

Mr Roger Ong!

My Sec 1 art teacher! You know the funny guy who said that whichever class draws the best, he'll give the class the Mickey Mouse sketch drawn by a famous artist, Fantasia? Ohmygosh, I can't believe it!

Suddenly this white and gray husky came running outta the yellow block of HDB flats and almost ran across the road without looking. I already imagining the scene of the poor husky being knocked down by car, blood splatter all over, cars honking and sound of car's tyres jerking. Just as a motorcyclist was about to dash through as fast as possible, he stopped and gave way for the husky. Phew, luckily he managed to cross the road.

So while the husky was walking aimlessly on the road, Mr Ong was beside me and saying, "Poor guy uh, wonder where's his owner?". Without answering his question, I immediately popped him a question I've been longing to ask,

"Wait... you teach Hougang Sec before right?"

"Oh yes! You were in my class before right? I remember you!"

Aww! :D

Anddd~ congrats to Mei for her interview at Mediacorp radio station because of the contest she joined. She's gonna win a Nintendo Wii or DS lite! GAHHH!

Haven't been really updating cos these few weeks have been boring.

BAHHH.

Last week was CA3 and I got back english, bio and chinese paper today. What the heaven... my bio and chinese are of the same marks and FYI, they're so LOW can! Oh man~ I really totally regretted playing audition when I'm supposed to study lar... but regret also no use le.

By the way, I passed 2 papers except for english. GRAHHH! Okay lah, Mr Fahmy told my class this,

"Your class has 43 people and there's a total of 37 failures, wow."

I got a single digit upon 25 okay and I suppose the lowest in my class is Cockman 'cos Mr Fahmy kept going against him while going thru the answers. Jin Ju got single digit too, its okay Barbie Doll! Work hard for End-of-Years!

I've gotta aim for a 15 L1R5 at the end-of-year!!! O.O

Oh yeah, I saw my class guys playing this really cute set of "poker" cards a week before CA3, haha.

MAHJONG TILES!

Orh hor~ caught by me. You all are gonna die in DM and Principal's hands liao... wahaha!

A really cool artist came for assembly this afternoon and the way he draws Spongebob Squarepants, Naruto, Bleach's Ichigo and Powerpuff Girl's Bubbles was simply AWESOME. Spectacular, if that's the word to describe?

Gotta finish up my stupid speech homework and play audition.

Tuuu-derls~

I find 3E2 to be a very cute class lah. We were all so glad that we survived 3 straight periods of a.math on binomial theorem which is really nonsensical. We joked and chat with Mrs Teo during math lessons... it was fun! Then about the debates, us against 3E5. 3E2 supporters were reallyyy cute lah: each of them got themselves a piece of paper just to scribble our names and wave it in the air to support us (: And we won the debates! WOO~

I know I haven't been updating since the someone's post. We'll move on shall we?

Jermaine, Fanny, Xiao Li, Alicia, Julia, Xin Yi, Li Qin, Venus, Dennis, Jun Tat, Nicholas volunteered to bring the shirts to school. Thanks people!

Did I miss out anyone? :D

But actually it was just Xiao Li, Alicia, Xin Yi, Venus, Li Qin, Julie, Dennis and I... since the receip is with Xiao Li and Alicia wanna tag along too, the pure (science) people followed. Luckily SOME of them lah, otherwise...

Took 159 to AMK Hub to have lunch since the shopowner said that the supplier is coming at 5.30pm, wtf? It was kinda late so Li Qin went home cos she has tuition.

We made a SHOCKING discovery: Jun Tat has never heard of AMK Hub before. Ohmygosh, Xiao Li talked very loud to his ear

"YOU KUKU AH! Never hear Ang Mo Kio Hub before!?"

Everyone was laughing cos we're going out with a suakoo! Saw FTP people, including Christine and Christina, at AMK station (:

Saw W660i at the hello! shop!

Fanny told me to treasure my current phone when I whined about buying a new phone (see above photo!). You know why? When we compared the phone functions at the shop, turns out that her LG white chocolate has only 3 hours talktime while I have 9 hours... HOHO! And my phone's internal memory is 34mb, bigger than hers too. Actually she was whining lah :D

Xiao Li was extremely disgusted when she found out that the phone she wanted, W900i (something like M600i), has NO CAMERA! Yes yes, it is touch-screen; has hand-writing recognition; walkman function; but what's the use when there isn't CAMERA?!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Being (really) lame: Fanny, mine and Xiao Li's

Reached Queensway and walked around with the girls. Saw loads of pretty pretty stuffs ^^

We waited an hour for the supplier until about 6.50pm when the shop was suppose to close at 6.30pm...

Venus was getting bored that she almost took home the red pebbles

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Alicia getting bored too

Ng Jun Tat still has loads of energy to talk ah~

DWARF!

Nicholas was getting bored, the girls too (obviously). Then we were like robbing the shop 'cos we said that if the supplier don't come, we'll take whatever is in the shop! :D Whenever we see a guy walk past, we'll shout out "Eh! Supplier!". So paiseh sia.

Youuuuuuuu people out there whose terribly in chinese, can spare yourself from this post now. Cos I know you won't even bother to read when you see the massive amount of chinese words. Well... you can't blame me that my entry area is THAT small.

Played Audition with Eunice, Liyin, Jie Ying, Sheila and Dickson yesterday. I created the room name as "clarinets! :D" and Dickson felt that I was being bias, heh heh! Haven't been updating lately due to the massive amount of holiday assignments that I owe and the addiction to Audition. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket why am I addicted to a game once I disliked Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Let's start with E-learning Day which is on the 10th. I was supposed to wake up at 8am and give myself some allowance to 赖床 and dilly dally away... Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket but I turned off my alarm and eventually woke up at 9.45am. What the heaven, I thought, shit sia I'm 40mins late! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Everyone was on MSN and the e-learning website was lagging bloody hell! I can't start my chinese assignment, neither the e-learning survey... okay lah, I managed to complete my chinese assignment at 10.40am before Xiao Li come to my house at 1 to use the computer.

Sort of chiong-ed our assignments and we finally went to Queensway to do class tee! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Studied 3 shops and finally settled on one of the nicer-looking shops.

This looks nice but the collar doesn't quite suit the girls...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

so we finally settled on THIS! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The ambience was sooo cool and relaxing lah. Went to look at accessories before heading home at around 8pm.

On 11 July, Xiao Li and I asked Darren to go to the shop with us just to check if he can fit into the XXL size shirt (whoops!). Turns out that he wasn't of any help at all and Xiao Li was treating him like an ATM machine.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Had doughnut at the 7-Eleven store opposite Queenstown station Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Okay, I'm gonna complain again about how inconsiderate this commuter is! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

He leaned onto the pole like as if it belonged to him! So I purposely tried to hold onto the pole on any available space, which is, UNFORTUNATELY, behind his hair. I told Darren

"If he's gonna use his hair to brush my fingers I'll KILL him!"

...and he really did Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I was shocked like hell! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket The thoughts of (wait, hey. I'm not being racist here okay, it's just that he's terribly HORRIBLY inconsiderate) bacteria spreading all over my delicate fingers and these will travel back with me to Hougang makes my hair stand. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

One important thing is that HE noticed ME! He looked at me; he knew I wanted to hold onto the pole because I can't balance when the train started moving; he didn't budge; he carried on in his own Lala-Land Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So er... which day was it. Oh yes, on Monday after band I went home to make cookies for my section as promised. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So went with Eunice to Point for dinner and bought ingredients for cookies as well. My house is terribly lacking of butter and has too much bread Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket...

I baked another BATCH of them on Thurs or Wed... er... can't remember.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

...sian right? Whole day see photos about cookies Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The cookies turned out to be SQUARES... what the hell. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

OHMYGOD. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

W660i has been released! After waiting like 2 months after the expected month... my dream phone has arrived in Singapore! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

But pity pity... I heard that red version isn't available in Singapore. On the other hand, white may be cool Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Till then~ toodles.

Happy 15th birthday Yao Yang (Gor)! :D

Must keep the diaper present (...whoops!) that Li Qin gave you okay! It's very cute lah, haha.

Yesterday's combine made me laugh so much that I haven't in ages. We went thru "Crocodile Rock" and "A Hard Day's Night" with student conductors while waiting for teachers & Mr Lim to finish their meeting. So Mr Lim came in and asked the juniors to go out and practice scales and arpeggios. Then... Elene, Yun Han and my nightmare started! ):

I felt so bad for not being able to catch all the fingerings on time lah cos this type of practice requires patience and keeping in contact with the instrument every day. I wrote loads of crap on my score as usual~ anyway there was finally a breather for us when juniors came in in a line.

Mr Lim tested Sheng Yong, oboe boy, for scales. He frowned like in a painful way! Ohmygosh, his facial expressions were so exaggerating that it made me laugh till I cry! Enoch was the other one also! Not the facial expressions but he kept repeating the scale when he plays a wrong note. So he repeat and repeat and repeat till he forgot which scale he needs to play! Announced the final band committee for 2007 to 2008.

Fall-in, got section tee, went home.

***

I was a bit blur on how to mark attendance and seeing Emily sooooooooo busy, I don't wanna keep asking her questions either. Luckily Julie and Elijah told me some pointers (:

But Ziana and I were outside the General Office waiting for dunno-what and doing nothing when the band was having drills. Some of them went up to disinfect the room, seems that they had a fun time cleaning! Mei Xuan, Jie Ying and Yin Yin were so HIGH, lol.

Had sectionals and 1/2 more juniors join clarinet section (: Some stuffs happened lah, not the juniors. Anyway, went to Point's KFC to have lunch, head to Hougang Mall to return books. Liyin suggested to go Plaza Sing... zzz. But it's good lah, at least I got my game account working and all. Accompanied them to find DVDs and took bus home.

Making class tee tomorrow! Woots!

Anyway, I just discover that my left thumb got a little swollen red spot.

DANG! Am I gonna die?! Gawd, I really must ask Mom when she gets home... or is she gonna give me hell when I tell her that I had chocolate waffle for lunch (which is a heaty food due to the chocolate)?

Oh yes, I'm injured (almost) all over. My thumb has a swollen er... thingie, big toe swollen, heel got a swollen spot too. And the worst thing? My left thumb (yes, left thumb again!) got slammed in between the window and the metal frame when I was closing them last night to switch on air-con. Damn that stupid piece of cloth blocking my view...

Xiao Li and I (and Alicia) planned to make cookies to Yao Yang's birthday!

Let the photos do the talking.

So we met at 7-Eleven after going back to our house to change and put bag. We followed the recipe and bought all the necessary stuffs. When we reach my house, the recipe stated...

"100g caster sugar
100g brown sugar"

WTF. I used 200g of brown sugar since Alicia said that caster sugar is somewhat like brown sugar.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
DRUGS! GAHHH! Stupid...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Xiao Li mixing brown sugar and butter... you can't see the butter actually. Sad case.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Looks nice...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
YEs, this IS NICE! ^^

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Looking good STILL...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Ooh~ nice nice

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Ang Xiao Li! Get your fingers off the cookies!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Okay, er... we put 200g of sugar till the cookie sparkled.

The results very diabetic *cough cough*

Xiao Li suggest that we reduce to 100g of brown sugar, which sounds and LOOK reasonable. And it tasted nice and smell quite fragrant afterall! :D Don't worry lah, we left the best to Yao Yang.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
OMG! So nice can!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Yummy~

Less 100g sugar : More 100g sugar

Toodles~

I haven't touch my instrument yet, DANG.

Get well soon Angelina, Alicia, Rachel! Take care people~

Random post today.

Yesterday had tuition then went to Ms Tania's house for theory lessons. So we finally went through the whole book of Grade 5 and she ask us to consider whether to take the exam or not. The entry fee is like $103 (plus GST already)! What the EFF so expensive?! Dickson confirm wanna take one lah... he insisted that he needs the Grade 5 cert to get into NAFA's band.

Went through "Enemy God", "Spanish Trumpet", "Song & Dance" and sight-read "Funa-Uta Fantasy" (?). The jap song is really complicated and confusing with all the variation of key signatures: 7/8 and 5/8. I guess this piece must be like Grade 5 and above?

Yun Han pia through "Enemy God"s triplets smoothly while me and Elene just stun there after playing 5 bars. Rest of the band had rests I think... and 1st clarinets' triplets were SUPER exposed I tell you. Audience are gonna fall asleep when they hear the (lame) title and weird sounds but I don't care, cos the triplets and semiquavers are really cool :D

Except for some super high notes (above 3 ledger lines) aren't cool at all...

Anyway, I'm going to Macau (sian!) from Sept 1 till 4. Mei is gonna accompany me! Yay! But I'm worried lah, cos concert is on NOVEMBER and I'm going overseas on SEPTEMBER for 3 days plus I'm not sure if I can keep my post.

Contradictive eh?

When I haven't join band, my family got no money to go overseas. NOW I join band, they got money and tempt me to go. Zzz...
